'RHOBH' star Dorit Kemsley shuts down rumors about affair with Mauricio Umansky, calls them 'ridiculous'
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Dorit Kemsley finally reacted to rumors surrounding her marriage and speculations of alleged infidelity to her husband Paul 'PK' Kemsley.
The 'Real Housewives' of Beverly Hills' star spoke to ET Online at BravoCon in Las Vegas, Nevada, about her disappointment with the spread of recent rumors.
Dorit Kemsley and Paul Kemsley are 'very open' about their issues
Dorit opened up about the reason behind releasing a joint statement with PK following the rumors about them heading for a divorce.
"We got word that they were going to release it, and I just... it's a rumor and it's hearsay, and we really wanted to shut it down because it's not true," the reality star said, adding "I know how these things kind of build and grow."
The couple has been "very open" about the difficulties within their marriage.
"I spoke this season about the challenges that we've had, and we've had a difficult couple of years post-home invasion," Dorit said.
"I've been through a lot of stuff personally, and of course, it has affected our marriage. We've been very honest and open about it," she added.
"I just wanted people to know, this is a rumor. We are not separated; we are not divorcing. We've had a difficult couple of years, and we are still working things out, but we are good," she continued.
Dorit Kemsley calls rumors of alleged affair with Mauricio Umansky 'ridiculous'
Addressing the affair rumors with Umansky, Dorit said, "Ridiculous. I mean, that is honestly one of the rumors I feel is so absolutely ridiculous it hurts because they are friends of ours."
"PK and Mo are very close -- very, very close. It's the most preposterous rumor ever," she said.
"So when I hear things like that, it should make people believe and realize, do not believe everything you read because it could be as ridiculous as that," the 'Bravo' star added.
Dorit Kemsley says she is not 'planning' to separate from her husband
In October, Dorit and her husband Paul vehemently denied rumors of their separation.
The couple issued a joint statement and confirmed that though their eight-year marriage has encountered challenges, it remains intact and strong.
The Kemsleys stated that they will further talk about their challenge in the upcoming season 13 of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'
"We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family," the couple stated.
"We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes, and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage," they added.
