‘It’s Commander IN Chief’: Net corrects Marjorie Taylor Greene after her big error
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene found herself once again as the target for Twitter's trolls on March 16, 2022, after wrongly tweeting out the President's title. In an attempted takedown of conservative commentator Bill Kristol, Greene called the President the 'commander and chief' instead of the 'Commander in Chief'. The massive error quickly led to the phrase "Commander in Chief" trending, as the net rushed to correct and troll her.
The embattled Georgia Rep. has been repeatedly slammed both on social media and in the press for her odd statements and antics, leaving even some Republicans red-faced. On February 9, she confused the Nazi Gestapo with Gazpacho, leading to several soup-related jokes. During President Joe Biden's State of the Union address on March 1, she and Rep. Lauren Boebart also attempted to heckle the President, which didn't go down well either.

On January 2, Greene lost access to her personal Twitter account, after repeatedly spreading misinformation. Rather than take it as a hint, she instead doubled down and has been using her Congressional account to tweet misinformation and attacks on her critics. It was during one such attack that Greene ended up making the massive error about Joe Biden's title.
Greene fails to troll Kristol
Kristol, a staunch Republican and former Chief of Staff to Dan Quayle has been a staunch critic of Donald Trump and all his supporters. On March 16, Kristol tweeted ".@RepMTG
recommends betting against America" in response to Greene's criticism of Joe Biden's plans to make a deal with Iran. Greene's tweet already generated plenty of controversy, but undeterred, she decided to hit back at Kristol.

"I tell you what pumpkin. How about you suit up and report to your commander and chief yourself and tell him your reporting for duty. You might want to train a little first, the only thing in shape on you and prepared for war is your little Twitter thumbs," Greene responded hours later. That tweet instantly went viral, generating over 5k likes and 1k retweets. However, it wasn't because the Georiga Rep. made a good point, but because as many people noticed, she wrote "commander and chief".

'Do they not have grammar classes in your part of Georgia?'
"I mean seriously, if anyone is going to say “commander and chief” it’s her. She literally has no idea it’s commander in chief and I’m zero percent surprised," mocked Rep. Adam Kinzinger. Another replied, "Commander-in-Chief you absolute moron." A third tweeted, "You’re* Commander in chief * Do they not have grammar classes in your part of Georgia? Or were you too busy reading about space lasers that day?"

A third joked, "5 dollars says she doesn't even know who the Commander-in-Chief is."
