The House passed a motion to remove controversial GOP Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene from her assigned education and budget committees on February 4. With a final vote of 230-199, the resolution was approved for the removal of Greene, who openly brandished her support for violence against Democrats in the past.

Greene had also drawn flak in the past for her belief in unfounded conspiracy theories like the QAnon theory or that 9/11 was a staged act. Before assuming office this year, Greene had a history of posting conspiracy theory videos on social media, where she also openly endorsed violence.

In an old deleted photo from Greene's Facebook, which was shown in the House by Democrat leader Steny Hoyer on February 4, Greene can be seen holding an AR-15 gun in front of photos of Democrat representatives.
