Porn star Renee Gracie, 26, wants hysterectomy to be rich rather than a mom
An adult artist has opened up about her wish to get a hysterectomy at the age of 26 as she would “rather be rich and famous” instead of being a "mother." Renee Gracie, from the Gold Coast, Australia, who is a former race car driver says that she doesn’t have much of a maternal instinct.
Since she loves her luxurious lifestyle and doesn’t want to give this up to start a family, she would like to opt for the drastic measure of getting her womb removed to avoid accidental pregnancies. "I've known I didn't want children since I was young," Gracie told Daily Star. “When I was little, around seven or eight, I thought other children my age were crazy and wild. I would look at parents yelling at their kids and think to myself 'I never want to have that.'"

She said that she was inspired to consider getting a hysterectomy after she met a lot of rich people, many of whom did not have children. "Then, when I was 16 and got into racing, I was meeting a lot of super-wealthy and successful people and a lot of them didn't have children themselves," she said. "They would also all tell me never to get married and never to have kids. Many other things put me off too. The biggest is the responsibility and also the fact that there's no going back. I think people make the decision to have kids way too lightly and that's why a lot of people are unhappy in their relationships and life. I'd much rather have lots of pets running around."
Despite Gracie being sure of her desire to get rid of her womb because she doesn’t want to have babies, doctors have have questioned her decision. The porn star admitted: "When I was about 17, I was having lots of health issues. I was in so much pain and discomfort from my ovaries and uterus, and had to get lots of scans and MRIs as doctors thought there was something wrong with them. I knew then that I never wanted kids and so I asked the doctor what I have to do to get everything removed. He basically laughed at me, which was incredibly insulting."
The model, who has over 26,000 followers on Instagram, added: "I've spoken to other doctors and asked about it but they've all told me that I'm too young and unless it's a severe issue to my health, I can't get one. I think it's crazy that in this day and age women don't get a choice. I understand it is permanent but I think there should be a better process for those who want it. Men can get vasectomies, after all. My goals have never involved getting married or having kids. I've never dreamt about my wedding day and I've never once envisioned having children or being a mum. Everyone who knows me knows I'm not maternal at all.”
The ex-Supercars driver also hasn’t been tempted by her friends starting families. She said: "My best friend has two kids. She is a great mum - but I consider them to be the best form of contraception I could ever have. When we hang out, she doesn't bring the kids as she knows I don't want them around." The influencer said that while her friends are accepting of her choice, strangers don’t always agree with her.
"It pisses me off that it's not widely accepted for women to choose not to have children. People definitely assume that being a female I will wake up one day and want them," she said. When most people find out I don't want any, they generally think I'm going to change my mind when I get older or I'll accidentally get pregnant and have to have a kid. I won't. I'm certain and I wish people would respect that."
Gracie's boyfriend, however, would reportedly like to have children one day. Nevertheless, the OnlyFans star doesn’t plan on changing her mind. She added: "He's always wanted to be a dad but I think I've shown him my side and opened up his eyes to life without children. Kids are a huge sacrifice and it's not one I plan on making. I believe I can have a happier, more successful life without them."
