Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she loves her wrinkles. The mother of two shared that she likes seeing the signs of herself aging on the screen as she knows that she has "worked hard" throughout her life.

As reported by Closer magazine she said, "One of the things that struck me about Big Little Lies was how I saw my own life reflected in each of the characters because I was a divorced woman, I'd been a single mother, a married mother, and I had another child in a second marriage."

She revealed that when she first saw the version of it, she saw the lines on her face and thought to herself, "I like them, I got them one by one... I worked hard to get these wrinkles." Witherspoon continued that she can now play women who have lived more and also gone through many changes. She added, "not simply because I'm in my 40s but because I've gone through that kind of evolution myself."

According to Witherspoon, the 40s are possibly the 'best years' for women as they are much more confident and are also going through 'great personal growth.' "You have a much clearer idea of who you are and you know exactly what you want," the 'Legally Blonde' actress shared. She continued that you tend to surround yourself with the best people and you are much bolder and less afraid.

"It's a time of great personal growth where you have much greater self-awareness," Witherspoon shared. She had set up her production company 'Hello Sunshine' around five years ago and is very grateful and thankful for the support and love of her husband. "He told me not to back down when it comes to asserting myself and fighting to get a project made," she revealed.
