Ray J ordered by Princess Love to quarantine alone for 7 days if he wants to see their children
Ray J revealed that his wife, Princess Love has ordered him to self-isolate for seven days straight without having any visitors if he wants to see their children ever again.
Call it punishment, call it payback, the 'One Wish' singer is currently quarantined in a luxury hotel 10 minutes from his Los Angeles home till his wife is convinced that he is virus-free before he is allowed to go back to his home to meet daughter Melody Love, 2, and 5-month-old son Epik.
The current order from Love comes after she accused Ray J of leaving her “stranded” in a hotel in Las Vegas while eight months pregnant after they attended the BET Awards in November last year. The couple did reconcile later.
In order to make sure that her husband is properly following social distancing norms, Love is keeping a close eye on Ray J's Instagram account. The deal is, her husband is not allowed to invite anyone over to the hotel while he self-isolates and if he does, he has to start over again and as a result, being reunited with his family will be delayed even further.
But it seems like the singer has no plans of breaking the rules set up by his wife since he is getting desperate to meet his kids. “I’m lonely right now. I don’t want to quarantine by myself. I keep telling Princess, but she says, ‘If I see one person over there with you, you got to start over,’ ” Ray J told Page Six. “So I really have to lock myself in, because I really miss my kids.”
And apparently, Love is in no mood to let up, as she recently made Ray J start the 7-day quarantine after spotting him posing less than six feet away from short-film director Antonio Ward. “She said I got to put in seven days alone, and I’m good with the seven, but she really want me to do 14, so it’s hard to look at the 13 days left,” Ray J said.
The publication added that Ray J sent over a number of pictures where he looked depressed inside the hotel room. In one of them, he was seen posing in the bathtub of a luxurious marble-clad hotel bathroom.
The drama surrounding their marriage unfolded last year when Ray J posted a family photo on his social media page. “Left me and Melody stranded in Vegas and blocked me from calling … now you wanna post family photos," Love commented on his post.
At that, Ray J reacted by blocking Love on Instagram. She was quick to share a screenshot of Ray J's account from which she had been blocked, with a caption that read: “Somebody tell Scooty boy he’s only hurting himself" Love went on to say she would consider filing a divorce if the drama between them ensues.
In response to the ongoing controversy, Ray J uploaded a video on social media explaining his side of the story. He said he would never leave his family alone and that he'd never do anything to hurt his daughter.
"To take this to social media and create this crazy story about me leaving my baby in harm's way is not cool," he said and went on to directly addressing his explanation to Love. Ray J suggested that they should be able to hug it out and make efforts to understand each other, come what may.
He was visibly worried about the situation they were in, especially because they have a second baby on the way. "The devil's working, but he's not working hard enough and he will never work hard enough because my family is something I will always die for," he expressed.
