Raquel Leviss goes on a 'voluntary facility for mental health counseling' in Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Raquel Leviss has opted for a ‘voluntary facility for mental health counseling in Arizona. The news was confirmed by a representative of the 'Vanderpump Rules' star who added that it has nothing to do with substance abuse issues. Leviss was trending recently after her months-long affair with the show’s costar Tom Sandoval came out.
"Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling. She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment. Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health," said the representative. The program is focused on ‘mental health and trauma therapy,’ it added. Both Leviss and Sandoval formally apologized to their fans after their scandal, which eventually ended the nine-year relationship between Sandoval and Ariana Madix.

'[Need to] work on self growth'
"I need to take care of my health, work on self growth and take time to be ok with being alone. I care for Tom and I don't want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now I need to heal,” Leviss has said in a statement. She added, "Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship. Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones."
Madix discovered Sandoval’s affair with Leviss after she found an intimate video and ‘inappropriate’ messages between the two on the TomTom bar owner’s phone. She was "completely blindsided," said a source.
'She thought they were friends'
"This is someone she thought she knew; someone she planned to spend the rest of her life with. You can't even put into words that betrayal," the source told. The video was a FaceTime call between Tom and Raquel, which was screen-recorded by Tom. When Ariana found it on Tom's phone, she recorded it and sent [it] to herself. Ariana had been there for Raquel when she went through her split with James [Kennedy]. She thought they were friends," another source had said. "This isn't something you do to a friend."
