Rapper Jeezy celebrates his 46th birthday days after filing for divorce from wife Jeannie Mai
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jeezy celebrated his 46th birthday on Thursday, September 28, by reposting well wishes from his fans and friends. ‘Put On’ rapper received a massive amount of birthday messages, which he shared on his Instagram stories.
Apart from this, he also dropped 13 mixtape classics for his special day, announcing it in a post on Instagram. He captioned the post, “I need all my day ones to celebrate my G-Day with me by posting and tagging me to y’all vibing out to your favorite song(s) from 13 classic mixtapes available now on all streaming platforms.”
He added, “Post and tag me. I’m showing love back all day! Let’s get it!” and true to his word, he shared his fans' and friends' stories about the mixtapes.

On September 14, 2023, the artist surprised everyone by filing divorce papers in court, wishing to separate from his now-estranged wife Jeannie Mai Jenkins.

What did Jeezy's divorce affidavit say?
It was noted that "[Jeezy and Jeannie are] currently living in a bona fide state of separation," and their marriage is "irretrievably broken" with "no hope for reconciliation," based on documents obtained by People.
The two celebrated their 2nd marriage anniversary in March and went on a Vietnam trip organized by Jeannie. “When Jeezy and I met, we bonded over the similarities and differences of our cultures,” his wife had earlier told People.
She had said at the time, “Now that we have a daughter, blending our worlds, it gives even more meaning to explore Vietnam together as a multicultural family.”

The 44-year-old continued, “When Jeezy proposed to me, he decorated his condo to look like Hoi An. It brought the memories of our engagement full circle when we were finally in Hoi An for the first time."

Jeezy's sudden split from Jeannie Mai Jenkins
Jeannie also shared an appreciation post weeks ago, before Jeezy filed for divorce, after his memoir ‘Adversity For Sale’ made it to the New York Times bestsellers list.
“Today I celebrate a remarkable milestone achieved by my husband, @jeezy, whose memoir ‘Adversity For Sale’ has soared to the New York Times bestsellers list,” she captioned the post.
“Your story has always been an inspiration to me, but seeing it in print has left me even more in awe of your strength and wisdom. You invited us into the most intimate corners of your life, where pain and triumph coexist.”
She also wrote, “This moment isn’t just a testament to your literary skills baby, but a recognition of your ability to inspire through the power of storytelling. I’m endlessly grateful for your voice in this world. Honored to walk beside you my love.”
Jeannie is still trying to convince Jeezy to give their marriage another shot. “She got married to stay married. She's committed to trying to save her marriage,” an insider told People.

“He spends nearly all his time in Atlanta, and she was flying back and forth between there and LA,” the insider reportedly added.
“She was scaling back a bit and trying to spend more time in Atlanta to work on their issues, “ the source explained.
