Rapper Lil Nas X, best known for the smash-hit 'Old Town Road' (and its various remixes), surprised fans with his new "outrageous look" that he shared on all official social media platforms.

Lil Nas X took to Twitter and tweeted a bunch of pictures of his new look without any caption. In these two pictures, Lil Nas X is shirtless in one and in a black vest in the other. But, what caught everyone's attention is the 21-year-old rapper's hair. Green in one and copper-colored in the other, Lil Nas X's hair makes him look like a character straight out of 'Dragon Ball Z'.

Later, the rapper posted another pic, even more bizarre, in a strange artistic way, than the previous ones. Covered in bright pink glitter from head to toe (including the hair), the 'Panini' rapper is wearing what seems like a pink leather jacket and pants. Comparing his current look to the Statue of Liberty, Lil Nas X wrote, "the statue of liberty could never! smh."

Twitter users immediately noticed the rapper's brand new look and shared their opinon instantly. One user, talking about his Statue of Liberty look, tweeted, "Statue of Liberty been real quiet since he posted this," while another account, a parody of the Statue of Liberty, wrote, "bet ill drop you before you drop your damn album." Many fans labeled the look "outrageous".

Fans of rapper were quick to jump in on the conversation with one of them writing, "you look so much like Spinel White Diamond!!!" while another fan added, "goku looking different here." It should be noted that Spinel is the main antagonist of 'Steven Universe: The Movie'.

In an interview with Vogue Magazine, Lil Nas X revealed that the new look is for the campaign for his new spring 2021 collection which also stars British designer Christian Cowan. He also revealed that the 'Old Town Road' rapper has worked with Cowan on the designs this season. Lil Nas X and Cowan have worked together before as the designer dressed X for the 2019 VMAs (where he wore a silver sequin suit and a frilly white shirt).

Lil Nas X also revealed in the interview that his new project will benefit the Black queer community in his hometown of Atlanta. Lil Nas said, "There’s been so many attacks on the trans community, even within the past few months, and it’s not publicized enough in the U.S. People forget that the entire Pride movement was started by Black trans women."

Cowan and Lil Nas debuted the full collection during New York Fashion Week (which began on September 11, 2020 and ended on September 16, 2020) via a virtual film.
