LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After personally experiencing the harsh criticism of netizens, Rachel Zegler is coming to the defense of Taylor Swift amid the recent wave of negative attention.

The West Side Story actress has voiced her support for the 'Anti-Hero' artist, who has been under intense scrutiny for attending two Kansas City Chiefs games in support of her rumored new love interest, Travis Kelce.

"It's not news that the media is particularly (and unwarrantedly) cruel to taylor swift but the way men feel entitled to speak about women, their bodies, and their sex lives needs to be seriously evaluated," Zegler wrote on social media.

'The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' actress was reacting to an explicit video where Dan Katz from Barstool Sports made a controversial statement.

In the video, Katz mentioned,  "If Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift release a sex video, I'll consummate this relationship and be like, 'Fine. You guys can have sex, you can be boyfriend/girlfriend'. I don't buy it …until that happens, I think it's fake, I think it's for clicks, and I think Taylor Swift is using the NFL to try to make her star bigger."

Zegler criticized the blatant sexism in Katz's comments. "That goes for a lot of different scenarios. we do not pick apart men's attitudes and relationships the way we do women's. and it's not always just men who speak this way about us. women can and do, too. it sucks."

Zegler had previously encountered severe online backlash from those who disapproved of her role in the upcoming movie 'Snow White', where she portrays the iconic Disney princess alongside Gal Gadot's Evil Queen.

On various social media platforms, the actress has consistently expressed her admiration for Taylor Swift's artistry over the years.

She frequently used Swift's lyrics as captions on her Instagram posts, tweeted about her deep connection to Swift's music, and even shared covers of Swift's songs.

Rachel Zegler has garnered widespread online backing, especially from Swift's own fandom, after she took a stand against a ludicrous request for a sex tape featuring Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
