Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig seen with their newborn baby girl in New York for the first time
Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig are easily the most excited parents after they welcomed a newborn baby girl into their lives earlier this month. And the couple looked like absolutely doting parents when they recently took their one-month-old daughter for a sun-soaked stroll around New York on Wednesday, according to Daily Mail.
The Oscar-winning actress and her James Bond husband seemed to be really happy and in great spirits as they walked around the Big Apple with their baby girl tagging along with them in a carrier.
For the relaxed outing, Rachel chose to wear a quintessentially-stylish nude trench coat over a white shirt, slouchy T-shirt and leggings and completed the look with a pair of stylish black suede Louboutin boots, a classic pair of square-frame shades, and an Aztec-print bag.
Daniel, on the other hand, kept things casual in a grey T-shirt and indigo jeans that he teamed with a basketball cap. He kept an extremely low profile on the streets as he carried their daughter in a baby carrier, with a floral blanket draped over the top.
Craig and Weisz, who got married in 2011, reportedly told their close friends and family they were 'very happy' to welcome their daughter into the world. While they both have children from previous relationships — Craig has a 26-year-old daughter Ella from his two-year marriage to ex-wife Fiona Loudon and Weisz shares a 12-year-old son Henry with director Darren Aronofsky — they did not have a child from their marriage till now.
Weisz announced that they were expecting in an interview with New York Times in April this year, revealing her baby bump. "I'll be showing soon," she had said. "Daniel and I are so happy. We're going to have a little human. We can't wait to meet him, or her. It's all such a mystery."
The couple, who is notoriously private and shies away from the cameras, had laid low since the announcement and were last seen together on the red carpet in April. Weisz, however, was snapped last month in New York City where she had been preparing for the baby's delivery with the 'James Bond' star.
The actor also shared in Stephen Colbert's 'The Late Show' that she may want to raise her child in the UK. When host Colbert asked her whether their baby was going to be raised American or British, she cheekily responded, "I suppose it will have to be bilingual!"
