Quaden Bayles was at the receiving end of racial abuse and slurs after he attended a Black Lives Matter protest, only a few months after he was seen crying after being bullied in a horrific viral video.

The nine-year-old boy had made international headlines after the video clip showed him saying that he "wanted to die" after being bullied. The video was widely shared across social media platforms and was viewed millions of times on Facebook, The Sun reported.

More recently, Quaden attended one of the Black Lives Matter protests that took place in Brisbane, Australia in light of the outrage and fury over the death of 46-year-old George Floyd. Floyd died after a now-former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck despite his pleas that he could not breathe.

Quaden had shared many images from the protests on his Instagram handle which boasts of around 470,000 followers. Vicious and cruel online trolls hurled racial abuse at the child who has a condition called achondroplasia, which is a form of dwarfism.

Many of his fans and followers, however, rushed to his aid and defended him from the trolls. One such user commented, "Please leave the comments off. I am so sick of seeing grown-a** adults bully a CHILD." While another added, "So many trolls hating, they got no life but to make stupid comments."

"So sad how many people terrorize this kid," commented another supportive social media user. "So many trolls hating. They got no life but to make a (sic) stupid comments," said a user. Many also urged him not to listen to the haters.

Quaden had also taken to social media to share a picture of himself meeting Queensland rapper Lisi who had also been attending the same protest. He also shared another image of himself holding up an image of TJ Hickey.

Hickey, 17, had died during a police pursuit when he was thrown from his bike and impaled on a fence in 2004 in Sydney.

We had earlier reported that Quaden had become a worldwide sensation and attracted the support of several notable celebrities after his mother took to social media to upload heartwrenching footage where her son was crying because of the relentless bullying he suffered at school.

The child can be heard saying to his devastated mother, "Give me a rope, I want to kill myself. I wish I could stab myself in the heart... I want some-one to kill me." He had also said, "I want to die... I want to scratch my self."

The child's mother, Yarraka had wanted to share the video clip online in the hope that it would spread awareness about being bullied and the consequences of bullying in schools. Post the video going viral, Quaden had received an overwhelming amount of support and love from the world.

During the video, Yarraka is heard saying, "We try to be as strong and as positive as possible and only share the highlights... but this is how bullying affects a nine-year-old kid. I just picked my son up from school, witnessed a bullying episode, rang the principal and I want people to know this is the effect bullying has."
