Priyanka Chopra flashes sideboob in risqué red gown after receiving award for her role as UNICEF goodwill ambassador
While being honored for her work with UNICEF at a special event in New York, Priyanka Chopra chose a racy red gown that flashed a hint of sideboob.
The 37-year-old actress arrived at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball on Tuesday, December 3, sans her musician husband Nick Jonas and boldly walked the red carpet at the event in a figure-hugging red Salvatore Ferragamo gown with one sleeve and a train. She completed her look with a styled back hair and pendant earrings, which perfectly complemented her attire.
Her choice of outfit oozed elegance as she went on stage to receive the organization's Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award. She even had a black blazer at hand to help protect her against the chill when she was getting ready to leave the event.
However, just before she was getting ready to enter her ride and had taken off the coat, one of the shutterbugs caught the 'Quantico' actress flashing a bit of a sideboob.
At the event, speaking about her journey with UNICEF, Priyanka said: “I had just become an actor and I was figuring out that I had this platform. I had started associating with causes that I believed were important. I was working with thalassemic children, children’s wards and suddenly I realized that there was a theme – that I was working with a lot of kids. My then manager Natasha Pal told me that there is this organization called UNICEF and maybe I should volunteer."
She added: “I started reading up a lot more and I started volunteering my time. A couple of years later, I became a national ambassador in India and then two years ago, I became a global ambassador for the UNICEF. The journey has been now 13 years."
After being a Goodwill Ambassador for more than a decade, which involved her traveling to her native country as well as other developing nations, in June this year Priyanka was named the 2019 recipient of the Humanitarian Award by the United Nations Children's Fund that globally provides humanitarian and developmental aid to children.
The star’s red carpet appearance comes just days after she celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary with her husband.
