Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas meet baby Archie and Meghan Markle during visit to Frogmore Cottage
Baby Archie may be only a few weeks old at this point, but the youngest royal has already seen visits from a horde of A-list celebrities ever since he was born. The latest celebs to join the club are Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas, who reportedly paid a visit to Windsor to coo over the latest royal baby.
According to The Sun, the couple did their homework and did not go empty-handed to meet the baby. Priyanka and Nick went to see Meghan Markle and her baby boy bearing some pretty expensive gifts, which were basically a number of baby gifts from posh jewelers Tiffany & Co.
A source shared, "They thought baby Archie was just adorable and Meg is loving her new life. She looked fantastic and has taken to life as a mum swimmingly." As fans would know, Meghan and Priyanka have been close friends for quite some time now. The actress had even celebrated on her Instagram page when Archie was born earlier this May.
Priyanka posted a screenshot of the Duke and Duchess's announcement and wrote: "Congratulations M & H," with a pink heart sticker on the graphic. The visit by the Jonas Brother and his wife to Frogmore also helped squash a lot of rumors about a rift between Meghan and Priyanka, which cropped up when the Duchess didn't attend her wedding in India last December.
It was reported earlier that Priyanka and Meghan's friendship had hit a rough patch, with the 'Isn't It Romantic' actress upset over the Duchess of Sussex failing to show up at her three-day long wedding to singer Nick, which was held in Jodhpur, India.
"Priyanka was crushed," a source had said, which eventually led to the 'Quantico' actress reportedly declining the invitation to Meghan's baby shower held at The Mark Hotel in New York. The shower was hosted by the Duchess's close friends Serena Williams and Amal Clooney, and also had celebs like Gayle King in attendance.
However, when asked in March if Priyanka was upset that "Meghan Markle skipped your wedding to Nick Jonas?", the 'Quantico' actress laughed and replied: "Oh my God. No! It's not true." Priyanka previously celebrated the Sussex's baby news when Meghan's pregnancy was first announced in October 2018.
Priyanka and Nick are not the only celebrities to have met baby Archie since his arrival. Just last week it was reported that tennis champion Serena Williams had popped in at Frogmore Cottage with her husband Alexis Ohanian and their one-year-old daughter Olympia. Meghan’s stylist Jessica Mulroney and her daughter Ivy, who’s also the Duchess of Sussex’s goddaughter, too stayed at Frogmore Cottage last week, as per reports.
