The ceremonies

According to reports, Chopra and Jonas are scheduled to get married in a 5-day extravagant wedding ceremony in pure ‘desi’ style, which will take place in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India’s very own blue city. The wedding festivities will reportedly begin November 28 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Hotel. The sprawling, stunning locale features 347 rooms, a full-service hotel, a museum, and is the primary residence of the Jodhpur royal family.

The famous celebrity couple is scheduled to have two different weddings, i.e. their wedding rituals will be taking place as per both Christian and Hindu rituals in India including the Mehendi, the Sangeet on November 29. There will be a cocktail party November 30 and the Haldi ceremony December 1. Jonas and Chopra will first get married in a Hindu ceremony on November 2, which will be followed by a Christian ceremony at the same venue November 3, it was reported.

As per recent reports, the 'Jealous' hitmaker's family will be flying to India this weekend. However, Jonas is already in Delhi, since he is getting a start on his upcoming wedding with his bride. "Welcome home baby," Chopra captioned a loved-up photo of her snuggling up to her future husband on Instagram.

It is also being speculated that Jonas is planning to woo his wedding guests with his singing prowess and that he has decided to set up a medley of international songs and Bollywood chartbusters for his performance at the couple's sangeet ceremony, that will reportedly take place at the Mehrangarh Fort. It was reported that famed Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Hegde has been roped in to choreograph the sangeet ceremony.

The 'Quantico' actress, who is currently devoting all her time to shooting for her upcoming movie 'The Sky Is Pink' is expected to wrap up her schedule by November 26, and after that, she is slated to join her fiance's family in Jodhpur. Meanwhile, Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra, has looked after all the responsibilities of her daughter's upcoming wedding.

The bridal party and the guest list

Even though the official guest list is not known yet, the high-profile wedding is sure to attract a lot of A-listers from both Bollywood as well as Hollywood. Chopra's BFF, Meghan Markle, whose wedding Chopra attended in May this year, will unfortunately not be able to make it, but Chopra has already chosen friends Mubina Rattonsey and Anjula Acharia to serve as bridesmaids in the ceremony.

As for the other guests, just like her wedding shower and bachelorette party, Chopra's friends Danielle Jonas, Kelly Ripa, Sophie Turner, Elizabeth Chambers, and Lupita Nyong’o are expected to attend the couple's upcoming nuptials. As for the groom, Jonas reportedly has a team of 11 groomsmen, which includes brothers Joe, Kevin, and Frankie Jonas, along with actor Jonathan Tucker and Priyanka's brother, Siddharth Chopra.

Meanwhile, Jonas celebrated a sailor-themed bachelor party by posing with a bottle of Elit vodka, a deal estimated to be valued at $150,000. He gifted his groomsmen LimeBike scooters, as he mentioned in another Instagram post.

The dresses

It is being reported that Chopra's bridal trousseau will be an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla creation, and she's expected to don a Ralph Lauren ensemble for the Christian wedding. Moreover, the couple plans to exchange Tiffany wedding bands at their wedding ceremony, and it is rumored that they have already sold the rights to the couple's wedding pictures for $2.5 million to an international magazine whose name has not been disclosed.

The ceremony is definitely going to be extra special for the couple since this is going to be a one-of-its-kind wedding that will see the amalgamation of Hindu and Christian traditions.
