Bride-to-be? Priyanka Chopra flaunts massive diamond ring from beau Nick Jonas for the first time
Back in July, insiders claimed that new couple on the block - Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas - had made their relationship official and that the singer had even put a ring on it. Since then the 'Quantico' actress has mostly tried to keep these details about her personal life hush-hush, until now.
In a picture taken with her friend and Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, the 46-year-old actress, for the first time, flashed her massive diamond ring from her fiance Nick. "Peecee and I getting our pouts in order!" 43-year-old Tandon simply captioned the photo, in which Chopra appeared to wrap her arm around her friend, flashing a glimpse of the sparkler to her fans on social media.
According to reports, the ring seemed to be adorned by a bespoke cushion cut diamond from Tiffany & Co. This doesn't come as much of a surprise as Nick was earlier reported to have closed down one of these iconic jewelry shops to get the perfect ring for his girlfriend of less than a year, putting a perfect cherry on their otherwise fairytale romance.
“They are so happy,” a People magazine source had dished back in July confirming the news of the celebrity couple's engagement. Apparently, the pair had made things formal - read engagement - soon after ringing in Chopra's 36th birthday in London. “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him,” the source continued adding, “He’s definitely very serious about her."
Interestingly enough, the confirmations came from multiple sources. Last month, in the light of her conflicting schedule and eventually turning down the Indian film 'Bharat' with fellow Bollywood star Salman Khan, both media and fans had begun speculating if things had been getting serious between the two and whether or not they will be walking the down the aisle any time soon.
While Chopra has always maintained a tight-lipped stance, the same can't be said for her 'Bharat' director Ali Abbas Zafar, who took to social media to share a cryptic message about the film and Chopra's situation.
"Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life," he had shared.
Now that the 'A Kid Like Jake' actress has taken the next step and showed off her massive rock, it has also come to attention that the families of the two stars would soon be getting together for a tete a tete. According to reports, as early as Monday, Nick and his folks could be traveling to meet the Indian actress' mother and brother in India.
And like a source says, "The age difference is not a big deal to them whatsoever.”
