Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough furious as Lisa Marie’s child Harper, 14, becomes stepmom's 'doppelganger'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The late Lisa Marie Presley’s mother and eldest daughter — Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough — are reportedly furious. Both are extremely protective of Lisa's twin daughters, Harper and Finley, whom she had when she was with ex-husband Michael Lockwood. But of late, Harper has been turning into the doppelganger of her stepmom Stephanie Hobgood. Harper and her twin sister, Finley Lockwood, are currently living with their father Michael Lockwood, who won full custody following Marie’s death in January 2023.
Since then, Harper has started to look more like Hobgood than her own mother and the Presley women are blaming Lockwood for it. “Both of them are privately fuming over Harper’s new look,” a source told Radar, adding, “They feel it’s inappropriate and in bad taste, especially so soon after Lisa Marie’s death!” It was also revealed that while Harper has changed her look, Finley continues to be a splitting image of Lisa Marie Presley. “Harper’s twin sister, Finley, remains the spitting image of her late mom — right down to her hair and rock ‘n’ roll clothes!” the tipster dished further.
'Harper is crazy about her'
“Harper is crazy about her, while Finley seems to be on Team Lisa Marie!” the insider further stated. They also added that “With Stephanie’s help, Harper changed her hair color from brunette to blond to look like her! Stephanie seems to have made it a point to erase any trace of Harper’s mom from her life!” The sisters have spent most of their time with Lockwood, who fathered them during his doomed decade-long marriage with Presley. The couple legally divorced in 2021, five years after they had actually split up. A year later, Lockwood exchanged vows with Hobgood in an intimate ceremony, where Harper and Finley served as groomswomen.
Riley Keough requests to be sole trustee of Lisa Marie’s trust
These claims came after Keough formally requested the court to appoint her as the sole trustee of the estate of her late mother. Earlier this month, the 'Daisy Jones & the Six' star and Priscilla hashed out a settlement as part of the bitter battle over the control of Lisa Marie’s trust, which is worth an estimated $35 million. As a part of their deal, the estate will be run by Keough while Priscilla will give up her fight to be co-trustee but will walk away with a multi-million-dollar settlement, according to Radar. Now, the paperwork filed by Riley aims to finalize the arrangement regarding her mother's trust.
A source close to the 'Zola' actress revealed that after the settlement, she desires to have an easy relationship with her grandmother. As per the insider, Keough is happy that the estate battle has been resolved and is now concentrating on "making memories with her own daughter.” However, Keough and Priscilla's settlement terms are likely to stay private since the attorneys involved plan to submit a motion to seal the material from the public. In a statement on the settlement, Priscilla's attorney, Ronson Shamoun, said that "the families are happy and unified and together and excited for the future."
