Princess Beatrice wears Queen Elizabeth's dress and tiara on her big day, fans call it 'favorite royal wedding'
Congratulations are in order for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The official royal family Twitter account tweeted that the couple were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor, on Friday, July 17. It was a private wedding and they celebrated with their close friends and family.
One of the interesting facts about the wedding was that Princess Beatrice wore a vintage dress by Norman Hartnell and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, both belonging to her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The tiara was worn by the queen on her wedding day in 1947. While the original dress worn by the queen was sleeveless, Princess Beatrice added sleeves for her wedding. The queen had worn this dress to the Opening of Parliament and a State Dinner in Rome in the 1960s.
The internet was full of awe for this royal wedding, with some calling it "their favourite" so far. "First thing I noticed was the dress. It's absolutely stunning, a work of art. The pastel flowers are a perfect touch. This might be my favorite royal wedding," one wrote.

I feel the tiara and dress show a special relationship with her beautiful grandmother," another tweeted.
