Princess Beatrice 'furious' as wedding plans are delayed once again over dad Prince Andrew's Epstein scandal
Princess Beatrice is believed to be furious after she was forced to delay her wedding date for a second time over the scandal surrounding her father, Prince Andrew in relation to Jeffery Epstein.
Given how Prince Andrew's friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein made headlines everywhere, the Queen had to postpone agreeing on a date for Beatrice's nuptials to property developer Edo Mapelli Mozzi. The venue, The Guards' Chapel and St. James Park also had to be changed recently after Prince Andrew announced he was suspending his ties with various military associations.
According to insiders, Beatrice and Mozzi will tie the knot on May 29 and will have a reception at Buckingham Palace, though no venue for the ceremony has been fixed or confirmed as yet. As reported by The Sun, a source shared, "The decision has been delayed repeatedly because of all the issues, but finally they have something that seems to work - and barring any problems that should be when it goes ahead."
"The Queen has asked everyone to come together to put on a united front. The press officers of all the palaces hope to portray the Beatrice wedding as the big event that brings the family back together again. Aides know this will be a tough job, but it's all they can do not just to save the wedding, but potentially the monarchy's reputation as well," the source revealed.
At present, only current serving members of the military and their direct descendants can wed at The Guards' Chapel, although there can be exceptions made for civilians who are well known by the church. It is for this reason that the chapel was dubbed the perfect choice to have the wedding. However, it seems like the venue is no longer a suitable option.
Sources shared that the wedding has been planned for 'early summer'. Beatrice and Mozzi had been together for around 11 months at the time that they had announced their plans to get married in 2019.
Their wedding plans have now been overshadowed by the ongoing scandal of Andrew's relationship with Epstein.
