Prince William reveals that Prince George inherited his love of dancing from Princess Diana
The Duke of Cambridge revealed how his son George has inherited a passion for dancing just like his late grandmother Princess Diana
Prince George may never have met his grandmother, but he has inherited a special trait from the late Princess Diana. In a rare conversation about his mother Diana, 36-year-old William revealed that his 5-year-old son George has a passion for dancing just like his grandmother.
A video of the conversation was shared to Kensington Palace's Twitter account and featured William opening up about his mother and son's passion to BBC Radio 1's Teen Heroes of 2018.
The Duke of Cambridge spoke to a 14-year-old freestyle dance champion Junior and shared, "George is doing dancing as well, he loves it. And it's kind of… my mother always used to dance, she loved dancing".

"And if it's something you love, you do what you love. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it," he continued. Prince George reportedly takes a 35-minute ballet lesson each week at his school Thomas's Battersea. Prince George's younger sibling Princess Charlotte also does ballet and their mother the Duchess of Cambridge shared how "she absolutely loves it".
Both Prince William and Kate Middleton are very proud of their children who served as the bridesmaid and pageboy at Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank. Both George and Charlotte were seen walking down the aisle on October 12 at the St. George's Chapel. Viewers also caught Kate Middleton laughing at Prince George as he came down the aisle at the beginning of the wedding.
Recently, pictures revealed how similar Prince William's daughter Princess Charlotte looks to him. As reported by E!News, a side by side picture of Prince William and Princess Charlotte shows how similar the pair look. Many social media users were fascinated by the similarity, but many also pointed out how Princess Charlotte has an uncanny resemblance to her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
William and Kate celebrated their engagement anniversary recently, and it marks the day it is believed William proposed to Kate. It is reported that William got down on one knee at the Rutundu Cabin which is at the foot of Mount Kenya. Prince William chose to make the moment extra special, and proposed with a ring which belonged to Diana. The couple now has three children together - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
