The Duke of Cambridge Prince William has revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte ask him about the homeless people that they see on the way to school and wonder "why can't they go home?".

37-year-old Prince William was seen speaking to Mary Berry for her Christmas special when he spoke about his children. Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, have seen homeless people while on their way to school at Thomas's Battersea and have many questions. Prince William spoke to Berry and shared, "On the school run already, bear in mind they're six and four, whenever we see anyone who is sleeping rough on the streets, I talk about it and I point it out and I explain why and they're all very interested."

"They're like: 'Why can't they go home?'" Prince William added. The Duke had shared the information while visiting 'The Passage' in London. His revelation comes after sources revealed how Prince George and Princess Charlotte will make their first public Christmas outing this year. They will be walking with their parents William and Kate to church on Christmas Day at Sandringham.

As reported by The Sun, a source revealed, "It will be so sweet. George and Charlotte will make their Christmas debut, as long as they're both on good form on the day. It's the picture all royal fans want to see. The royals walking to church on Christmas Day is a rite of passage and so William and Kate didn't want to expose their children too early, but they feel they're old enough now."

Prince William and Kate Middleton's third child, Prince Louis, will be staying home with Kate's parents as he is still very young.
