Prince William KISSES Kate Middleton in rare PDA after charity polo match win
Prince William and Kate Middleton had their own moment of sharing love to each other as they arrived for a charity polo match in Windsor on Wednesday, July 6, along with their dog Orla. The Cambridges exchanged soft kisses on the cheek after the future king’s team won the tournament. They were then seen leaving the match ground with their arms wrapped around each other’s backs.
The Duchess of Cambridge chose an ivory dress with black lining by Emilia Wickstead for the day while her husband wore a white and navy polo uniform. However, when the Duke arrived for the tournament, he was wearing a pair of white jeans and a blue dress shirt. After the victory, which gained more than $1 million for several charities, the royal couple celebrated while laughing and getting clicked with the trophy.

The PDA was reportedly rare as the pair have not quite often shown that kind of gesture in public. In 2019, royal etiquette expert Myka Meier had told PEOPLE that the royals have not been banned from doing so. Meier had said: “Senior members of the royal family would likely not be told how to interact or when they can or can not show PDA and would be trusted to use their better judgement as to when it's appropriate. The royals often adjust PDA to mirror the formality of the event they are attending. At a somber or more formal event, we are less likely to see PDA than at a casual event where it would be deemed more fitting.”
The match reportedly happened as the Cambridges were about to relocate to the town of Berkshire in Windsor from London. The decision has been taken keeping in mind the needs of their children — 8-year-old Prince George, 7-year-old Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, 4. Also, Page Six reported that “the move will also help William prepare for his role as the future King of England.”
In June, insiders said, “Catherine’s parents, Mike and Carole, are only a few miles away in the village of Bucklebury, while Catherine’s sister, Pippa, and her husband, James, are looking for a new country home, too. The Middletons are all so close and William loves them … and of course, this move will allow William and Catherine to take on a far more senior role in the royal family.”
Meanwhile, Twitter was also in awe of William and Kate’s PDA as a fan tweeted: “Love this couple!” Another one shared: “Love them❤️❤️.” “They r cute,” the third one noted. The fourth one remarked: “Such a beautiful couple. True fairy tale romance.🥰”
A user said, “Now this is how it's done. With elegance and pizazz👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.” Another user added: “Since you love looking at our beautiful duchess of Cambridge here are some pics. Enjoy 🤓.” “Rare? Compared to some minor royals who overdo it, which looks phony, these two are a breath of fresh air!” the third user stated and the fourth user added: “Confident couple does not need to show PDA all the time as certain other couples just to make a point. The Cambridges are a very lovely couple and beautiful family.”
