Prince Harry spends Valentine's Day away from wife Meghan Markle in royal wedding-inspired igloo

Prince Harry had to spend Valentine's Day apart from wife Meghan Markle, but his mind was still on the Duchess. The Duke of Sussex spent the couple's first V-day since their marriage away from his pregnant wife as he was on a royal engagement in the snowy city of Bardufoss, Norway.
Prince Harry attended to his royal duties on Thursday, February 14, while visiting the Exercise Clockwork military operation located 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle. The military personnel on-site decided to surprise the Duke by taking him to the Quincey Shelter igloo, which they had decorated with photos from the prince’s May 2018 wedding to Meghan.

Apart from the adorable pictures, the military personnel also had lit candles and were playing music to help set the mood. “You weirdos,” Harry, the Captain-General Royal Marines joked as he took in the tribute. He further said to the officers who had accompanied him into the igloo, "It’s very kind of you to invite me into your private shrine or whatever you want to call it. And the music, is that part of it? Romantic, isn’t it?” Even though he has to sometimes travel for work, Prince Harry, who is due to be a first-time father in April, loves to dote on his pregnant wife in every chance he gets.

“Harry’s being his usual, amazing self around Meghan. He’s been keeping an eye on her to ensure she doesn’t overwork because she’s not the best at knowing when to put the brakes on — that will be Harry’s job,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this month, further noting that the former 'Suits' actress has been “full of energy and in good spirits.”
And while Meghan and Harry prepare themselves to be first-time parents, they are reportedly been relying a lot on Prince William, and his wife, Duchess Kate, for guidance. “Both of them have spoken to Harry and Meghan about parenting, giving a few bits of advice ahead of the arrival of the baby,” added the insider.

“Having been through it a few times, their ‘tricks of the trade’ have definitely been appreciated. Harry and Meghan are totally open to all help and advice,” said the insider referring to William and Kate's experience with having three children together.
As for Meghan's V-Day plans, she once reportedly dished on her now-defunct blog, The Tig, how she usually ends up spending the day of love. “Without fail, every February 14th, I wake up feeling like I’m immersed in a Robert Doisneau photo, waiting with bated breath to be dipped into a kiss," she wrote, adding "Valentine’s Day is special wherever you happen to find yourself. And in terms of gifts, be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower, it really is the thought that counts.”
