Prince Harry SLAMMED for missing Prince Philip's memorial: 'He chose to be Meghan's puppet'

As the Home Office told the Duke of Sussex that he would not recieve the same personal protective security, Prince Harry skipped attending his late grandfather's memorial.

Prince Harry has been recieveing tons of hate due to his behavior. The Duke of Sussex is currently staying in California but he was 'not bothered' to attend his grandfather Prince Philip's memorial which was held at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday, March 2022. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were at their $14 million mansion in Montecito.

All other members of the Royal Family, including the Queen who has been facing some health issues came together in London for Prince Philip's memorial service.

Harry refused to travel to London because of a row about his security. However, he is anticipated to travel to Netherlands in the coming two weeks to attend the Invictus Games. The 37-year old Duke was declined the same degree of personal protective security when he visits from the United States. Despite offering to pay for these services himself, the Home Office did not budge.

Richard Griffin, the man who spent 14 loyal years as a royal protection officer for Prince Philip branded Harry's excuse 'pathetic'. He said, "Prince Philip was their grandfather so William has obviously had a great training from him and is going to learn examples from him. I just hope Harry gets some of these things in his mind. It [Harry not being here] was a big disappointment for everybody. People were talking about it. Certainly around where I was people were saying he should have been here. All this nonsense about how he couldn’t get protection, as far as I’m concerned that was a pathetic excuse. He should’ve been here to honour his grandfather." Further he said, "At the end of the day, if he was that worried about security, he could’ve stuck with his brother and father who have got wonderful security and he would have been more than safe."

Users on Twitter shared their opinions. One said, "I feel sad that his own arrogance and petulance is making him miss this important day. He would have had the same security when he came for the funeral so there are no excuses other than to cause hurt & drama. He will end up regretting this decision" Anoither said, "Harry shouldn't be considered a senior royal anymore, he chose to be meghans puppet instead."

An opposing view in Harry's favor said, "Sooo the British press are annoyed that Prince Harry didn’t attend his grandfathers memorial - in England - but they basically bullied him out of the country they’re now mad at him for not coming back to. Make it make sense."
