Meghan has gone quiet and 'probably struggling' while Harry feels tormented by rift in family, claims source
Prince Harry has been feeling "tormented by his fractured family ties" while his wife Meghan is "struggling to cope" post the couple moving to Los Angeles, an insider has revealed.
The pair are currently living in Tyler Perry's mansion along with their son Archie. Perry's mansion boasts of eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and is located on 22 acres on top of a hill in the exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates guard-gated community. The couple had stepped down as senior members of the royal family towards the end of March and had later shifted base to the USA.
While speaking to the Sunday Mirror, an insider shared that the pair are dealing with some tensions in their new life. "[Meghan] She has gone very quiet. I think she is likely to be feeling extremely low and probably struggling," the source said.
The insider also shared that Prince Harry felt "particularly down on William's birthday on June 21." The source also pointed out how Meghan had become "more distant" and "introverted" over the last couple of weeks which had left her family "worried". "She has gone very quiet. I think she is likely to be feeling extremely low and probably struggling. The legal battle and the increased tension it’s created with the royals due to the information that’s coming out has to be putting a lot of strain on them both," the insider shared.
"Meghan’s been a lot more distant and introverted over the last few weeks — her family is worried. And Harry must be tormented by his fractured family ties. He was particularly down on William’s birthday on June 21," the source continued.
We had earlier reported that Meghan Markle is reportedly 'mortified' over her best friend Jessica Mulroney's threats to sue a Black influencer. Meghan is believed to be so shocked and upset that she can 'no longer be associated with her', her close friends revealed to Daily Mail. A close pal said, "Meghan is absolutely mortified that she's been dragged into this complete mess. She doesn't believe Jessica is racist, but the way she handled the situation (with the fashion influencer) was tone-deaf and heartbreaking."
Mulroney had threatened to sue Black influencer Sasha Exeter after the two had got into an argument over racism on Instagram. Meghan's friends also said, "Meghan said friends reflect friends and because of what's at stake she can no longer be associated with Jessica, at least not in public. She has to do what she has to do in order to preserve her dignity and her own reputation," Daily Mail reported.
Mulroney later took to social media to apologize to Sasha and referring to her friendship with Meghan said, "I am unequivocally sorry for not doing that with you and for any hurt I've caused. As I told you privately, I have lived a very public and personal experience with my closest friend where race was front and center."
"It was deeply educational. I learned a lot from that. I promise to continue to learn and listen on how I can use my privilege to elevate and support Black voices," she continued.
