Meghan-Harry have a 'sexiness' that can't be matched by William-Kate who lack 'stardust' quality, says expert
After appearing in their first public engagement in over two months, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made quite an impression that, according to a royal expert, highlights just how much more "sexiness" the couple has than the other notable royal couple — Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared at the City of London to take part in the Endeavour Fund Awards for the third year in a row, where they, according to Express, handed out awards outstanding veterans, servicemen and servicewomen, in addition to delivering speeches and mingling with assembled guests.
Royal expert Daniela Elser believes that the couple has broken the mold when it comes to their glamour, openness, charm and, most notably, their sexiness.
In an opinion piece for New.com.au, Elser writes that "When Harry and Meghan married and morphed into Sussexes, they were not only a powerful modernizing force they brought something hitherto unheard of to the royal brand – sexiness."
She continues, "I don't just mean their good looks, rather they made a hoary institution seem like a truly attractive and appealing prospect. When Meghan took to the stage to present an award, her glow and smile would have melted the coldest of republican hearts.
"Likewise, when Harry delivered a speech later in the night, charmingly flubbing his lines and speaking with true passion about supporting veterans, he brought authenticity and warmth that was reminiscent of his mother," she adds.
She then goes on to compare the couple to Prince William and Kate Middleton. "Contrast that with William and Kate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who are currently on the tail end of their whirlwind three-day tour of Ireland... Sure, they were very smiley good sports who looked like they were having the jolliest of times!"
She wrote. "But there is no getting around the awkward fact that they lack the stardust quality that the Sussexes permanently exude."
"By contrast, Harry and Meghan bring a thrilling vitality to the whole royal enterprise," she says. The royal expert believes that their vitality, and mass appeal, are a huge loss to the royal family now that Harry and Meghan have left it.
She believes that it will take "years, if not decades, to undo the damage their leaving might do to the royal family."
