Thomas Markle said his estranged daughter, Meghan Markle, and her husband, Prince Harry, should have returned to the UK to help the Queen amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Thomas, 75, has been left disappointed by the revelation that the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have permanently settled in LA. Meghan's estranged father is still hopeful that the couple will take back their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family.

While speaking to Mirror, Thomas shared, "I think Meghan and Harry should go back to the Royal family in the UK and be supportive of the Queen. I think they should be in England at this time and not in LA. I really support the idea of them going back to the royal family."

"They can join the A-list and make lots of money, of course, when the problem with the virus is over. But they will never find the respect they would have as full members of the royal family," he revealed. The retired director also sent his best wishes to the Queen who is in self-isolation at Windsor Castle and Prince Charles who had tested positive for the virus.

He also shared that Meghan has still not reached out to him or contacted him even though he is in the high-risk age bracket of contracting the disease. He also asked for her forgiveness once again and hopes that the current pandemic will remind them of what is important in life.

Thomas admitted that he is concerned for his daughter's well-being amid the outbreak given California has seen several cases. "I am in the high-risk category, but now a number of young people are also coming down with it," he said.

"If I could say anything to Harry and Meghan right now it is that life is too short. I would certainly tell them to be careful and I would tell them that I love them. This is the time to think about what is really important in life - it’s too short and unpredictable," Thomas revealed.

Thomas also has a whole bunch of underlying health issues like a heart problem, hypertension, and prediabetes which puts him at a much higher risk of coronavirus. Ever since he missed Meghan's wedding in May 2018, she has not been in contact with him. The two had a falling out before the ceremony after it emerged that he had collaborated with paparazzi to make some money off staged photographs. Thomas has also not yet met his grandson, baby Archie, who is Harry and Meghan's first child together.

He is hoping that Harry will see how anyone can make a mistake given he was recently duped by Russian pranksters in a phone where he believed he was speaking to climate change activist Greta Thunberg and her father, Svante.

We had previously reported that during the prank call, Harry said he was 'completely separate' from the royal family and had chosen to step back from royal life in order to protect his son. Harry also spoke about climate change, Donald Trump and Prince Andrew.

He told the pranksters that "marrying a prince or princess isn't all it's made up to be" and shared that his military service had made him "more normal than my family would like to believe". He had also labeled the British political system 'broken'.
