Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will probably have to say goodbye to their 'Sussex Royal' brand after the pair decided to step away from royal duties. Harry and Meghan were using the brand for various purposes and were planning on starting charities associated with the same brand. However, it so happens that Queen Elizabeth and other senior royal officials have come to the conclusion that the two are in no position to use the royal title.

The couple has been reportedly asked to re-brand and think of a different way through which they can make their reach more noticeable. Prince Harry and Meghan have also allegedly understood that they will not be able to use the title as they had hoped.

There might be a big task ahead of the couple after they found out that they won't be able to use the royal title as it would mean that they would have to rebrand everything that they have ever worked on so far. Harry and Meghan first started using the Sussex title when they separated themselves from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, also known as Kensington Royal, as reported by Daily Mail.

As Meghan and Harry tried to build their life in Canada, it is reported that the two were planning on using the brand for various things, such as bandanas to notebooks. They also brought out their own royal website which stated that it would follow the lives of "Duke and Duchess of Sussex".

Even when the Queen accepted their decision to walk away from their royal duties, it was clear that they had to reevaluate the status that the two would hold. Now that the two have stepped away from their royal duties and arrangements completely, it has been revealed that the two would have to bid goodbye to their royal label.

A source told the outlet, "In many ways, this is inevitable given their decision to step down, but it must surely come as a blow to the couple as they have invested everything into the Sussex Royal brand. The Queen would have had little choice, however."

The source continued, "The Sussexes' original plan – of being half-in, half-out working royals – was never going to work. Obviously, as the Queen has made clear, they are still much-loved members of her family. But if they aren't carrying out official duties and are now seeking other commercial opportunities, they simply cannot be allowed to market themselves as royals."

Buckingham Palace officials have not released any statement with regard to this news.
