LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: New photographs of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been released two days after the publication of an official picture of the royal family. The couple attended the One Young World summit for youth leaders in Manchester last month. The first image shows Meghan wearing a red blouse and matching trousers, paired with a gold ring and earrings. She looks into the camera as she holds one of Harry's fingers, who is seen in a black suit and tie.

The second photo shows the couple standing next to each other, side-on to the camera, looking at the audience as they hold hands. The photo was taken moments before the opening ceremony of the summit. The pictures were taken by celebrity photographer Misan Harriman, director of the Southbank Centre and a friend of the couple. He has previously clicked photos of celebrities including Rihanna, Stormzy, Tom Cruise, and Giorgio Armani.

'Family or $20M': Tenuous truce set to shatter with Prince Harry ‘insisting’ on releasing tell-all memoir against King's wishes

Meghan Markle has 'SHUT DOWN' her network after Queen's death to prevent 'unauthorized leaks'

One Young World hosts an annual summit for young leaders to "be inspired, share learnings, and connect" as well as "raise the bar for what it is possible to achieve as leaders, individually and collectively." Giving a speech at the opening ceremony of the event in Manchester, Meghan Markle told the 2,000-strong crowd, with representatives from 190 countries, that it was "nice to be back in the UK." She described the delegates as "the future, but also the present, driving the positive and necessary change needed across the globe."

Harriman posted the photos just a day after an official portrait of King Charles, the Queen Consort, and the Prince and Princess of Wales were released. The 'New Fab Four', as they are called, is a name that replaced 'Fab Four', once used to refer to William, Harry, Kate, and Meghan.

The new royal family photo, which was released after the Sussexes' departure from Britain and the Queen's death last month, stressed the fact that Charles, William, and their wives will now be the new core of the family. Harry and Meghan's picture, however, seemed to dominate the King and the Queen Consort's first public visit after the Royal mourning period came to an end. The royal family released the photo of the four of them on Twitter, captioning it, "Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort with Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales." The photo was taken at Buckingham Palace on September 18.

The Daily Mail's Editor At Large, Richard Kay, wrote of the photograph, "The photograph is brimming with symbolism of course: the new sovereign is pictured with his son and heir, while looming behind them is a glowering portrait of King George III, the longest-reigning male monarch in British history. But what is perhaps even more remarkable is that the picture was taken on the eve of the Queen's funeral, when our four most senior royals were about to host a huge reception for visiting Heads of State, including US President Joe Biden, at Buckingham Palace. The message, if one was needed, was clear: the business of monarchy never rests, even at times of great personal sorrow, and its enduring strength lies in its continuity."

It is unclear if the Sussexes chose to release their photo at this time deliberately in an attempt to overshadow the King's visit. However, it does suggest that they have not coordinated their activities with those of other royal family members since they moved to the US.
