In the days leading up to "Megxit," Prince Harry felt "forced out" from the Royal family by his "bullying" elder brother. At the same time, it was reported that Prince William felt angry at little brother’s desire to redefine his and his wife, Meghan Markle's roles within the monarchy.

“William’s done everything in his power to help his brother over the years and feels totally let down by his ‘reckless’ and ‘selfish’ actions,” a source told US Weekly. “The way he sees it, Harry’s thrown all the good advice he gave him back in his face.”

It wasn't William alone who was impacted by the historic decision made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who announced last week that they will be stepping down as senior members of the Royal family, Kate Middleton was also allegedly heartbroken by Harry's decision to move away from the family as the trio often attended Royal engagements together and made a good team.

“When Harry was feeling low or had problems, William was always there for him, as was Kate,” the insider told the outlet. “Kate’s incredibly hurt too. She acted as a mentor to Harry before Meghan came into the picture and hates seeing her husband so upset.”

Kate, however, will not be attending the mega summit scheduled to be held at the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk, which will see Harry sitting down with his brother, Prince Charles and the Queen to work out an abdication deal. Meghan, who is currently in Canada with her infant son, Archie, might also join in the discussion via video conference.

According to the latest reports, just 20 months into their marriage, the former 'Suits' actress apparently told her husband that the "bullying attitude" of William was "not working" for her.

"She wants to leave. He [Harry] is under intense pressure to choose. It is sad. He loves the Queen. I think it will genuinely break his heart to leave. I don't think that's what he really wants. I think they want some halfway house," a Times source close to the couple said of Meghan.
