Prince Harry goes where no royal has as he labels 'SHAMEFUL' Prince Andrew scandal
MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: The Duke of Sussex continues to cast shade on various members of the royal family, becoming the first person from the family to publicly speak out about Prince Andrew, calling the Jeffrey Epstein affair a "shameful scandal." The Duke of York is accused of twice sexually abusing Virginia Giuffre, who claimed to have been trafficked by disgraced financier Epstein.
Prince Andrew has always refuted these claims and settled their lawsuit last year, accepting no liability. Prince Harry, however, has not forgotten to mention the affair in his upcoming controversial memoir, Spare. The 38-year-old reportedly told his wife Meghan that there was "no way" the royal family would limit her safety if she abandoned her royal duties and chose North America over the UK, especially since his uncle would still receive protection.

Harry told her there was an "obligation" and an "implicit promise" to protect them. "Never," Prince Harry told Meghan, according to Daily Mail when asked if it would ever be removed. "Not in this climate of hate. And not after what happened to my mother." The Duke of Sussex adds, "Also, not in the wake of my Uncle Andrew. Despite being embroiled in a shameful scandal, and accused of sexually assaulting a young girl, no one had even suggested removing his security. People have had plenty of reasons to complain about us, sex crimes weren’t one of them."
The former royal duo were no longer entitled to the security provided to the Royal Family once they stopped being working royals and moved to the US. Harry sued the Home Office last year after he was informed that he could not pay for the Metropolitan Police to provide security for him and his family when they visited the UK.
Prince Harry has already dropped bombshells on various other royal family members, including the likes of his father, King Charles, his brother Prince Williams and also detailed the bitter-sweet relationship between his wife Meghan and Kate Middleton in his biography, which prematurely went on sale in Spain the last week.
MEAWW previously reported that victims of Jeffrey Epstein were reportedly angry by Prince Andrew's return to public life. The Duke of York was Epstein’s long-term friend and after the Queen died on Thursday, September 8, Prince Andrew was in the public eye for royal engagements. He had to give up his HRH title following the civil sex assault case brought by Virginia Giuffre, which distinguishes a person as “royal” over others. Andrew also had to give up his patronage and honorary military roles. The case was settled for an undisclosed sum.
Harry is 'scraping the barrel'
Twitter users also reacted to Prince Harry's criticism on Prince Andrew. One user tweeted, "He wouldn’t have done if they had kept his security." Another wrote, "Harry's right about this. Even a broken clock shows the correct time twice per day." One user opined, "Once Meg has become bored of her game playing, she will leave Harry. Abandoned by the military, his family and reputation. Harry will be left with nothing. I feel sorry for him." Another user called him a "Splitter!" "Oh dear he really is scraping the barrel!" another user said.
