A ROYAL VACATION: Prince William, Kate Middleton and kids spotted boarding helicopter
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have begun their summer vacation on Monday night, July 11, as the royals were seen strolling toward a helicopter waiting on the Kensington Palace grounds. A video posted on Instagram shows the moment they boarded their private chopper with Orla, their favorite dog, who joined them and was seen running toward the helicopter.
Kate, 40, appeared to be sporting the same straw hat and white summer dress she wore to attend the Ladies' Singles Final at Wimbledon last week. The family was carrying bags as they made their way through a private field next to the Nepalese Embassy in London's Kensington Palace, where a black helicopter was waiting. Prince Louis could be seen skipping in front of his brothers toward the helicopter in the video of the sweet family moment.

According to Daily Mail, The outing follows claims that the Queen asked William to avoid flying himself, particularly in poor weather because she was concerned that an accident may endanger the succession. Although the family's destination is unknown, it is possible that they were traveling to Anmer Hall, their Norfolk country retreat. George and Charlotte broke up from school from Thomas's Battersea last week Friday, July 8,while Louis' term time at Willcocks Nursery School ended a bit earlier on Wednesday, July 6.
The Cambridge family enjoys visiting Anmer Hall and does so as frequently as they can, generally throughout the summer when the kids are off from school. The three-story home is situated on the Sandringham Estate and boasts a large lawn with swings, climbing walls, and climbing frames, making it the ideal location for a family getaway. The Duke and Duchess were in attendance at Wimbledon over the weekend, which would explain their delayed departure.
In a previous Apple Time to Walk episode, William said of their country home, which was a wedding gift from the Queen, "We spend as much time as we can here, it's very peaceful." It's likely that the Cambridges will see Her Majesty later this summer since they typically pay a visit to Balmoral, Scotland, around August. The family has traveled to Aberdeenshire before on commercial airlines.
