'That could be him in a few decades': Prince George gives 'future king' vibes at Charles' coronation
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Performing his role at the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday, May 6, Prince George appeared to be a fully grown boy. The nine-year-old was one of four pages of honor for the procession through Westminster Abbey's Nave in London. Holding onto the train of a long robe as the monarch moved toward the Chair of State, he followed Charles, 74, dressed in a striking red coat and black slacks.
George is second in line to the British throne as the eldest son of Prince William and Princess Kate, who were both present during the royal ceremony. He will be the youngest future monarch to formally take part in such an event thanks to his involvement in Charles' coronation (When his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, was crowned in 1953, Charles was just 4 years old and played no official part in the celebrations).

'The fact that he is going to be such a big part of this coronation'
Before the coronation, royal correspondent Sharon Carpenter told E! News about Prince George, "The fact that he is going to be such a big part of this coronation demonstrates that his parents want him to have that understanding of the monarch. And that sort of appreciation and respect for the monarchy that starts at a very young age," Us Weekly.
From Elizabeth's burial in September 2022 to the yearly Sandringham Christmas service that December, George has made more public appearances with his parents at royal engagements and festivities. The little prince is settling in as they try to give George and his siblings normal childhoods, as per reports.
