Prince George accompanied his parents — Prince William and Kate Middleton — to Wimbledon on Sunday, July 10, as they watched Novak Djokovic beat Nick Kyrgios on Centre Court in the Men’s Singles final. After the match, the Serbian player went on to meet the royals. He also shook hands with the eight-year-old, who was looking dapper in a navy blue suit.

George first reportedly showed a thumbs up to Djokovic after which the 35-year-old gave him The Gentlemen's Singles Trophy to hold. The young royal was seen looking carefully at the prestigious award and carrying it for sometime before handing it over to the Duchess of Cambridge, who as always was looking gorgeous in a $1600 Alessandra Rich blue polka dot dress. George was also reportedly heard saying to his mother, “It’s a bit heavy.”

At the time, Rusedski had said of the meeting, “She talked about George, her little boy, playing tennis,” before adding that she told him, “He’s got a racket and he enjoys playing tennis, and obviously she plays with William…”
