Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their exit from the royal family, all eyes have been on them. While they are still settling into their new life in Canada, the royal couple has been pretty active on social media with several posts on Instagram and many tweets and retweets on Twitter.

So, when Prince Charles wanted to make a special announcement about one of his green initiatives on social media, he was hoping for all the spotlight to be on his new initiative.

Unfortunately for the crown prince, Meghan posted about her visit to an animal shelter around the same time and stole away the attention from Charles and his green initiative.

The Daily Mail reported that this incident left Prince Charles feeling "frustrated".  A source reportedly said that the prince had already tried to co-ordinate with the royal couple to avoid such clashes in press activities.

However, the couple reportedly declined the co-ordination request, and this left the 71-year-old prince feeling upset.

The source shared, "The Palace wanted someone from their side involved in the co-ordination of diaries and press activities last week, but the request was rejected by the Sussexes. The couple's rejection of any simple co-ordination hasn't gone down too well with Charles."

Prince Charles wanted to announce his Sustainable Markets Initiative which he came up with in collaboration with the World Economic Forum in Davos. Through this initiative, the Prince hopes to "restructure and reorganize" markets to engage in greener business practices.

Meghan, on the other hand, shared a picture of her visit to an animal rescue center during her stay in London. Meghan wanted to promote her active work towards animal welfare.

Coincidentally, around the same time, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton too posted about her early years' development project at a children's center.
