In a heartbreaking moment, Prince Charles was seen crying as he walked behind his father's coffin, at the funeral procession of Prince Philip at St George's Chapel. The eldest son of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles is the first in the line of succession to the British throne. On Saturday, April 17, 2021, the 72-year-old could not keep his emotions as he bid the last farewell to his father.
Recently, Prince Charles was also spotted crying as he visited a memorial in the honor of Prince Philip. He attended his father's memorial outside Marlborough House on Thursday, April 15, 2021, with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. In an emotional moment, he was moved to tears as he walked through a sea of tributes that have poured in the memory of Prince Philip.

For a brief moment during the funeral procession, the camera captured Prince Charles at a vulnerable moment. He appeared to be overwhelmed by deep pain and grief as he welled up during the service and procession.
Britons have expressed their heartfelt support and solidarity with the Prince, sharing how Prince Charles crying moved them deeply.

Queen Elizabeth II, who sat alone at the funeral due to COVID-19 protocol, was also seen crying during the service, as she bid adieu to her husband and companion of 73 long years.
"It is okay to be overwhelmed with emotions when we grief...... It is okay to cry when we have lost a loved one....," a user remarked, sharing the photos of Prince Charles and the Queen who were seen tearing up.
