Prince Andrew's closest friends have hired forensic experts to examine pictures of him with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and one of his supposed victims Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

The Duke of York's pals have reportedly recruited experts in order to analyze the authenticity of two pictures that placed him at the center of the Epstein scandal.

The first picture features Prince Andrew walking through Central Park along with Epstein, two years after Epstein admitted to pimping girls as young as 14.

The second image shows Prince Andrew at Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell's London home in 2001.

Andrew had his hands wrapped around a 17-year-old Giuffre who claims she was used as a sex slave. Several lawyers have questioned how authentic the pictures are.

Sources have claimed that Andrew's fingers look "too chubby" and they could be a "stitch-up". A source also shared with The Sunday Times that the heights of Andrew and Giuffre do not look right.

"Prince Andrew does not recognize the photo. And the more you look at it, the odder it gets. The Duke is 6ft. Virginia Roberts Giuffre is 5ft 3in," the source shared.

"There are certainly not nine inches between them. There is something decidedly wrong about it," the source continued. However, the US Justice Department and the FBI both believe that the pictures are genuine.

Earlier this year, Buckingham Palace released a statement saying, "Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue."

"It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation," the Palace shared.

Prince Andrew had said of Epstein, "At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behavior of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction."
