Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre supports Meghan Markle, says royal family should 'hang heads in shame'
American advocate of justice for sex trafficking victims, Virginia Giuffre, is one of the most prominent and outspoken survivors of the sex trafficking ring operated by the convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein. Giuffre said Buckingham Palace should “hang their heads in shame” in the wake of the shocking revelations made by Harry and Meghan Markle in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
She had previously accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her three times when she was 17, with one incident allegedly occurring at Epstein's New York mansion and another at his estate in the Caribbean. In the ensuing scandal, Prince Andrew withdrew from active duty as a senior royal but remained on the Palace's payroll.

Speaking about the Winfrey interview, she said, “Well at the very least we know who #meganandharry are talking about when they say that #BuckinghamPalace & #TheFirm protected other royals but wouldn’t protect them & their newborn baby #Archie They should all hang their heads in shame.”

"I don't know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us," Meghan said in the interview. "And if that comes with risk of losing things -- I mean, there's a lot that's been lost already." As per the New York Times, “the Firm” as a term is often linked to Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip, who popularized its use. But its use dates further back, to the queen’s father, King George VI, who was once reported to have declared, “We’re not a family. We’re a firm.”
Giuffre, in her take-down of the monarchy, said, “For far too long I have waited for some form of justice & for far too long Andrew has escaped having to pay for abusing me as a minor and abusing me publicly with his atrocious words and denials. Hopefully one day I will get what I deserve.”
She added, “The only crisis the constitution will see is if they continue burying the truth & spreading lies. #BuckinghamPalace needs to address #PrinceAndrew & the lack of any form of accountability. We live in a new era. Time to get out of the dark ages & into the new world we all live in.”

U.S. lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents some of the women who were victims of Epstein, but not Giuffre, suggested Buckingham Palace was making the "calculated decision" to use Meghan Markle to take the focus off Prince Andrew.
"Why does Buckingham Palace not conduct an investigation and make a public statement condemning Prince Andrew for failing to provide what is requested to those who are seeking the whole truth and justice for the victims of crimes against children?" she told The Guardian. "Why has Prince Andrew not been stripped of the royal titles that he enjoys, as has been the case for Meghan and Harry? He has certainly not brought dignity and respect to his work as a royal."
She added, "Allegations about him are far worse than the allegations about Meghan Markle. Prince Andrew was a working royal when he became a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, who was a sexual predator."
