President Trump's daughter-in-law had never imagined she would one day meet the Queen. Married to Eric Trump, the 36-year-old attended the US president's state visit to Britain in June with family members, including her sister-in-law Ivanka, Daily Mail reports.

Lara and Eric are expecting another child together due sometime this month, just weeks before Luke, their eldest son, turns two years old.

The former TV producer has now admitted to Hello! magazine she cannot wait to tell her unborn baby about the overseas adventures he had while still in her womb.

Lara spoke about her official state visit to London while dressed in a lavish gold asymmetric dress, that hugged her nine-month-pregnant bump for the world to see.

"Knowing that one day I'll tell this baby about the adventure overseas and all that happened while in my belly made everything all the more meaningful," she told this week's Hello! magazine.

"I can assure you that I never dreamed that I'd have the opportunity to visit Buckingham Palace, meet the Queen and the royal family, and attend a state dinner - it was an unforgettable few days."

Lara struck a glamorous pose for the magazine in Mar-a-Lago, a resort owned by her president father-in-law in Florida.

"In the chaos of day-to-day life, it's so nice to have a place where we can meet as a family and it feels like old times, before my father-in-law was president and life was a little bit less hectic," she said.

The state banquet, which took place at Buckingham Palace in June, was attended by all four of Trump's adult children.

As Trump sat with the Queen, his children Don Jr., 41, Ivanka, 37, Eric, 35, Eric's wife Lara, 36, and Tiffany, 25, milled about and smiled at the cameras eloquently dressed for the fancy event.

Lara is serving as a 2020 presidential campaign adviser to the 45th president. She was formerly a producer of Inside Edition. Now, she produces and hosts weekly updates for Trump's re-election campaign under the title "Real News Update" on the campaign's social media pages.

President Trump will become a grandfather for the tenth time after the birth of Lara and Eric's second child.

The pair married on November 8, 2014, after dating for six years and welcomed their first child on September 12, 2017.
