'Power Book II: Ghost' Episode 5: Will Tariq kill Saxe for recording his graveyard confession? Fans wonder

Fans are sure that Saxe won't make it to the end of the season

In the latest episode of 'Power Book II: Ghost', Davis MacLean (Clifford Smith) decides to sell Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) out to Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson). After much mud-slinging, the two lawyers are now working together as they are determined to have a big win. Saxe's niece Riley had violated all of Tariq's civil rights by drugging him and monitoring his movements. A dazed Tariq heads to the cemetery and admits his guilt of killing his father Ghost, handing Saxe just the trump card that he needed. Though this is not permissible in court, Saxe has already proved that he can go to the murkiest depths to win a case.

At the end of the episode, Davis and Saxe have one plan: to get Tariq in jail. This midseason finale has left fans in a whirl and they're busy speculating about Tariq's fate. Will he go to jail? But is that possible, considering Tariq is always ten steps ahead of his enemies, or will Saxe be killed, by Tariq or by Tommy Egan? Who's playing who?

Others suggested that Davis might just be playing Saxe. "#PowerBook2 #powerghost prediction: Davis and Tamika have planned something to screw Saxe over. Brayden will kill either Raley or his brother to prov his loyalty to Tariq," a fan wrote. Another wondered why on earth Saxe got his niece Riley involved in this mess and that her fate might just be sealed as well. "Saxe’s messy behind is gonna get his own niece killed I just know it lol. #PowerGhost," a fan wrote.
