LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pop queen and singer Madison Beer recently revealed that she had auditioned for a role in 'Superman: Legacy'.

James Gunn had begun casting for 'Superman: Legacy' before the Hollywood strike began and has continued to do so since the strike ended.

A sizable ensemble will be included in the film, and singer-songwriter Madison Beer disclosed that she was on the verge of joining the impending DCU revival.

She was also questioned about any previous auditions in an interview with 'Say It or Shot It', a KISS show hosted by Harriet Rose.

What did Madison Beer say?

In her conversation on 'Say it or Shot it', Beer said, talking about whether she would be the part of the movie or not, "That might have been for the new Superman movie. Sorry if that's not announced. I didn't get the part. Unfortunately not."

"They don't give too many specifics, especially for a film that huge," Beer continues.

"They keep the character vague and make something up new. I don't who the actual character I was auditioning for was." However, as per reports, Beer was likely trying out for the role of Eve Teschmacher. She was created by Richard Donner and Mario Puzo for 'Superman: The Movie' and portrayed by Valerie Perrine.

The character is commonly portrayed as Lex Luthor's secretary in both print and cinema, and she has also made appearances in 'Smallville' and the Arrowverse.

This casting validates rumors that Lex will play a significant role in Gunn's 'Superman: Legacy' tale. It has not yet been formally revealed, therefore it is best to treat this as a rumor for the time being.

Isabela Merced as 'Hawkgirl', Edi Gathegi as 'Mister Terrific', Nathan Fillion as 'Guy Gardner', Anthony Carrigan as 'Metamorpho', and Gabriela de Faría as 'The Engineer' are among the other new casting additions.
