'Poor Chris': Judi Dench reveals her embarrassing naked FaceTime call to friend
LONDON, UK: During her appearance on 'The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show,' Judi Dench revealed that she had recently engaged in a FaceTime call with her friend Chris Logan while being unclothed.
The 88-year-old shared that she was about to get into the bathtub when her daughter asked her to wish him on his birthday.
“I went up to get dressed and ready and I ran my bath and I got into my bath and I thought ‘Oh I must send Chris Logan a happy birthday (message).'”
“I picked up my phone, and I said, ‘Chris, happy, happy …’ and I just saw these two people turn and [make shocked faces],” Dench recalled.on Wednesday’s episode, November 22.
“Well, it was FaceTiming them. I don’t know about FaceTime. Poor Chris,” Dench shared that Chris was with fellow actor Ben Whishaw."

Talking about that moment, the James Bond co-star said, on the podcast from BBC Sounds, "I can’t see Zoe, I can’t see at all, my phone is anathema, I don’t know what all those buttons (do)."
British radio presenter Zoe Ball laughed and jokingly said, “What a birthday message. You can’t top that, though, can you?”
Dame Judi Dench has been known to share candid stories, even those of a more risque nature. She recently discussed her fondness for lingerie, humorously mentioning, "There's a delightful naughty knicker shop in London — but please, don't buy out the entire stock, as I plan to visit."
While shooting in the ‘Victoria & Abdul’ along with actor Ali Fazal, she commented that there was “no acting at all required” to appear she was attracted to the actor, as per PageSix.
Judi's struggle with poor eyesight
Speaking to The Mirror in July, the star shared about her degenerative eye condition.
"[I want to work] as much as I can. I mean I can’t see on a film set any more. And I can’t see to read. So I can’t see much. But you know you just deal with it. Get on," she said.
"It’s difficult for me if I have any length of a part. I haven’t yet found a way. Because I have so many friends who will teach me the script. But I have a photographic memory."
Dench was first diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in 2012 and addressed the diagnosis while speaking to Entertainment Tonight the same year.
"In response to the numerous articles in the media concerning my eye condition, macular degeneration, I do not wish for this to be overblown," the 'Shakespeare In Love' star said at the time, reports MEAWW.
