PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS: Investigators who are probing the disappearance of Massachusetts realtor Ana Walshe were seen searching through trash at a transfer station in Peabody. Police claim they have found evidence connected to the vanishing of the 39-year-old mother of three, who was last seen on January 1 and failed to catch a work flight to Washington DC.

Footage from several media outlets shows investigators wearing protective suits alongside police officers with K-9 frantically combing through the trash at the facility on Newbury Street in Peabody. However, the evidence found has not been disclosed, reported CBS. The search comes hours after Walshe's 47-year-old husband, Brian Walshe, was arraigned in Quincy District Court on the charge of misleading the police investigation in connection to her disappearance.

Brian Walshe suspected of murder

Subsequently, a search warrant was executed at the couple's Cohasset home and police discovered blood and a broken bloody knife. The knife, possibly the murder weapon, was sent to the state lab for DNA testing. Brian was also seen on surveillance footage buying $450 worth of cleaning supplies at a home improvement store just a day after Walshe was last seen. Police are currently retracing Brian's steps using the footage, with the help of cell phone towers and the electronic ankle bracelet he is wearing as a result of a federal case, where he is charged with selling fake Andy Warhol paintings.

Another shocking revelation suggests the convicted fraudster searched online “how to dispose of a 115-pound woman’s body" in the days surrounding his wife's mysterious disappearance. Ana Walshe, who is originally from Serbia and had an eastern-European accent, is described as 5′2″ and weighing approximately 115 lbs. This led police to believe the mother of three may have been killed. However, Brian has not yet been formally accused of being involved in Walshe's disappearance. He is currently held on a $500,000 cash bail.

"Seems like he disposed of her body in different dumpsters"

The nerve-wracking details about the Cohasset woman's disappearance have left social media appalled. One user wrote on Twitter, "This case is heartbreaking and get worst by the minute." Another added, "I just want her found. Not months of agony for her family." Someone else claimed, "I admire the people that have to do this tedious search in trash. And their emotional state when they find evidence." "She carried three of his babies and stayed with him through his fraud bs, and this is how he pays her back. Those poor kids," a tweet read. A user speculated, "Seems like he disposed of her body in different dumpsters. Also, he may have committed this act with the kids at home, which is absolutely disgusting."
