Piers Morgan threatens to block anyone who shares his old photo with Ghislaine Maxwell
Piers Morgan has threatened to block fans who keep posting the photo of him posing alongside Ghislaine Maxwell, who has been convicted of trafficking minor victims for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse.
In the photo, the former 'Good Morning Britain' host can be seen donning his formal black business suit with a red tie, holding a glass of wine in his hand as he stands next to Maxwell. Maxwell was found guilty on five of six charges for which the jury deliberated for 40 hours last month. Maxwell was found guilty of conspiracy to entice a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors. While both the first and second counts carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison, the third carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, and the fourth carries a statutory maximum of five years in prison. She was acquitted of count 2, which involved enticing a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts.

Morgan threatens to block fans
At the age of 60, Maxwell is facing 65 years in prison, which means that she will spend the rest of her life behind bars. Morgan's old picture with Maxwell went viral on the internet back when she made headlines and resurfaced when she was found guilty. Morgan has made his opinion of Maxwell very clear. He clapped back at Twitter users who kept sharing the picture, all the while asking controversial questions about the same.
He explained: "To everyone gleefully sending me this photo: I met Ghislaine Maxwell at a book launch in New York in 2013. We spoke for 5 minutes about her father Bob who once owned the Daily Mirror. She seemed nice. Obviously, she's a monster. Sadly, I'm not a psychic. Hope this helps." He later replied to another fan who questioned him in a since-deleted tweet: "Hi Craig, I've interviewed 1000s of people over the years, a tiny number of whom later turned out to be sex offenders. If you could tell me which of today's public figures are likely to be exposed for sex crimes in the future, it would help me work out who to pose with - thanks!"

Posting an array of pictures, which included since-disgraced celebrity figures including Rolf Harris, Morgan then tweeted: "Now I've (again...) explained these pix, anyone who sends me them going forward to make some fatuous nonsensical 'GOTCHA!' point is getting blocked. You've been warned, so no tearful 'I was drunk, Piers, please forgive me!' pleas for mercy if you ignore this directive."

Last week, Morgan dubbed Maxwell a "vile sex trafficker", writing: "Will vile sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell now sing like a canary to avoid spending the rest of her life in prison? If she does, there could be a lot of rich, powerful & famous people sweating tonight... and not sweating."
