Piers Morgan slammed girl group Little Mix on Twitter after they were seen laughing out loud when the Brit Awards host Jack Whitehall seemingly 'fat-shamed' a very upset Piers on the ITV show on Wednesday.

Morgan took to social media to share, "Shocked & disappointed to see @LittleMix LAUGH as @jackwhitehall fat-shames me on national television. It’s just this kind of public negative body image mockery that the same @LittleMix campaigned against & of which I am now a victim. Shame on you, ladies! #BRITS."

Morgan's annoyance and anger come after Whitehall approached the band and attempted to stir up some drama given that Piers had accused the group of using nudity to sell their albums.

Whitehall said, "Piers Morgan. He didn't like that picture where you stripped off naked which is weird because four chins and voluptuous breasts - it must have been like looking in the mirror." Whitehall then told band member Jesy, "What would you say to that dusty wasteman?" as the girls giggled awkwardly and placed their hands over their mouths." Jesy did not reply but yelled out, "Jack!"

Even though neither of the girls said anything, Piers was upset that they had laughed at all. In addition to his initial comment calling out the band, he also wrote, "And as for chins, at least I’ve got some, you chinless little weed @jackwhitehall. #BRITS."

Last year, Piers Morgan had called out the band for stripping it all off for a photo shoot for their music video which was titled 'Strip' and whose aim was to promote and encourage body confidence. Morgan said, "They're stripping off to sell albums, that's what it's about. The rest of it is baloney. They don't have any flaws, they've been airbrushed to look perfect. They're fake. There's not a mark on them. You can't even see the surgery."

Recently, Piers Morgan ended his feud with 'Thank U, Next' singer Ariana Grande after bumping into her in an LA restaurant on Tuesday night. The two also posed for selfies together and Morgan shared it on his social media. In the caption, he wrote, "So... we bumped into each other in an LA restaurant, she joined me for ‘a chat’ & 2 hours later we were still chatting. We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed & we bonded. Turns out we really like each other. Weird. Thank u ⁦@ArianaGrande⁩ - next?"
