Pierce Brosnan's son Dylan credits parents' 18-year marriage to mutual respect and love for the environment

Pierce Brosnan, 66, and his wife Keely Shaye Smith, 56, have been the best parents and perfect role models of love and respect for their son Dylan. 

The 22-year-old opened up and about his parents' 18-year-long marriage and how he has learned the meaning of true love from them, reported HollywoodLife.

"I would say that it’s really nice having parents that love each other and support each other the way they do, so that’s definitely helped me," Dylan shared. The actor is currently dating painter Avery Wheless and has been seen with her since 2016.

He said that his parents had a lot of mutual respect for each other and also love what they do. "They understand each other’s work ethics. If one of them needs space or time to figure something out, that’s there," he revealed.

He also explained how his father often has to travel on work and that his mother is very understanding and supportive of that. 

He added that his father shares a love for environmental activism with his wife Keely who is a renowned environmental journalist. The pair have passed on the same values to their son.

Dylan was attending a charity event that had around 700 volunteers to plant more than 3,000 native trees and shrubs at Malibu's Paramount Ranch when he got candid on his parents' relationship. 

Dylan's younger brother Paris, 18, also spoke about his passion for the environment and giving back to the community. He too attended the event at  Malibu's Paramount Ranch and shared, "I am thankful for this creative outlet and the opportunity to be surrounded by inspirational designers and artists." 

The model recently made an appearance along with his father at London Fashion Week’s Fashion For Relief event last month and was ecstatic to share the experience with his father. "I obviously look up to my dad, and being able to share this extraordinary experience with him in London made it really special," he revealed.
