Fia Johansson: Private Investigator helping Julia Wandelt who claims she's Madeleine McCann warns about her 'fake profiles'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Polish woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann has reportedly become a victim of fake social media accounts being set up to imitate her. Julia Wandelt, 21, who originally shared her claims on her Instagram profile, has since deleted all her social media accounts. Thus, it appears that some users are taking advantage of the situation and creating fake accounts made in her name.
Wandelt had over a million followers on Instagram before she got removed by the social media site itself. Since then, she operates through private investigator Dr Fia Johansson's profile. The pair flew to the US from Poland and are currently residing in a safe LA area after falling prey to online death threats. At the moment, Wandlet and Johansson are waiting for DNA test results which will determine if the former really is McCann. Moreover, Johansson, who has been the lead spokesperson in Wandelt's case, took to her Instagram to warn followers of the fake profiles.

'None of them belong to Julia'
"Instagram accounts, Facebook accounts, any social media platform accounts using Julia Wendell’s name, none of them belong to Julia. Julia deleted and also deactivated all her social media platforms. So please if someone is pretending to be Julia, please report that account immediately," Johansson said, as per the DailyStar.
Wandelt will appear on 'Dr Phil'
Wandelt became a global sensation after going public with her claims that she is McCann, who went missing during a family holiday to Portugal in 2007. She is now waiting for her DNA test results through which she can find out more about her true identity. Wandelt recently had her first high-profile interview on the chat show 'Dr Phil'. Speaking about the news, Dr Johansson said, “I’m very happy for Julia getting a platform to courageously speak up, shedding light on her violent and abusive past and hopefully bringing her closer to justice!” The episode is scheduled to release on Monday, March 27, 2023. A preview clip of the show showed Wandelt saying: "I believe that I am Madeleine McCann. We are waiting for results."

Wandelt remembers Kate McCann's voice
Wandelt continues to put out more evidence that she is the three-year-old missing toddler. She revealed to RadarOnline that she remembers the voice of Kate McCann, mother of Madeleine. "I want to say something to Kate McCann: I listened to a song that you sang to your daughter Madeleine. When I hear your voice – from movies, from interviews – I feel like I really know this voice, your voice. I really believe that I could be Madeleine," she explained.
