Peter Weber confirms he's dating Kelley Flanagan with lip-locking photo: 'Let the adventure begin'
After weeks of rumors and speculations, Peter Weber has finally confirmed his relationship with Kelley Flanagan as the former bachelor took to Instagram to declare his love. The 28-year-old shared a picture of him kissing Flanagan inside of a plane on social media on Saturday, May 2, as he wrote, “You caught me. Let the adventure begin.”
It has also been said that the duo had been quarantining together at Flanagan’s apartment in Chicago these past few weeks. Previous reports claimed that they were spotted strolling and were seen by eye-witnesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “They were right across from Marina Towers. They seemed to just be hanging out on the walk. Peter was vibing and it seemed like, at one point, Kelley had his leg in her lap,” an eyewitness said.
A day earlier before making the relationship social media official, Weber also left a major hint about the status of their love life. Flanagan shared a throwback picture on May 1 of a concert lanyard from when she met EDM artist Kygo in August 2019 and it featured an adorable message. “Pilot Pete, don’t be dumb. Pick Kelley!” the Norwegian producer wrote to the reality star on the lanyard.
Weber replied to the post in the most adorable way as he commented, “I finally got it right.” He also added a heart-eyed emoji and tagged the DJ’s Instagram in the comment.
Even the Bachelorette alum’s parents have given the relationship their seal of approval. Barbara Weber has posted a collage dedicated to her son's relationship with Flanagan. “Serendipity,” she captioned the picture with two hearts. Weber’s father also posted two photos of the new couple, along with the caption that read: “Happiness is finding your copilot.”
According to reports, Weber’s love story with Flanagan started a month before ‘The Bachelor’ started on ABC in January 2020. “I met Peter a month ago — randomly — in a hotel lobby. I was here in California for one of my best friend’s wedding, and he was there for his 10-year reunion,” Flanagan had shared.
Though Flanagan was not interested in joining the contestants, she made it to the top five before being sent home. Meanwhile, the commercial pilot for Delta Air Lines got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss, who he proposed to on the show. However, soon the duo broke up and Weber ended up with Madison Prewett, another contestant of ‘The Bachelor’. But that relationship also came to a quick end.
Just one week after Weber split from Prewett, he started sparking romance rumors with Flanagan. The duo looked close when they were spotted in Chicago together with another Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick. “They seemed to just be hanging out on the walk. Peter was vibing, and it seemed like at one point Kelley had his leg in her lap. I didn’t see them kiss or anything, but they were pretty close,” an onlooker said of the rumored pair as they looked cozy during their outing at the Riverwalk on March 25.
