Peter Facinelli and girlfriend Lily Anne Harrison ring in new year by getting engaged during Mexico vacation
Peter Facinelli and Lily Anne Harrison ended 2019 by getting engaged during their holiday getaway in Mazatlan, Mexico, according to a news report. Facinelli, 46, most famous for his role as Carlisle Cullen in the 'Twilight' films, has been dating actor and writer Lily Anne Harrison since 2016.
Harrison's engagement ring features a pear-shaped diamond and a gold band. This is Facinelli’s third engagement and will be his second marriage. He and Jennie Garth divorced in 2013 after 11 years of marriage.
He was also engaged to 'Blindspot' actress Jaimie Alexander after dating on-and-off for several years. The couple broke up due to conflicting schedules in February 2016.
Hopefully, it is a case of third time lucky for Facinelli. He proposed to Harrison while they were enjoying a romantic beach dinner at the Estrella Del Mar Beach and Golf Resort.
Making the engagement celebration a family affair was Facinelli’s daughters, from his marriage with ex Jennie Garth, and Harrison’s parents. According to Facinelli's media rep, "both are beyond elated and are very much looking forward to all that the New Year will bring."
Both Facinelli and Harrison shared photos from their beach-side dinner on Instagram. Facinelli shared a picture of Harrison and wrote: "A Magical night with this incredible woman. A perfect ending to 2019.”
Harrison, meanwhile, shared a picture of herself sipping champagne, from the same intimate dinner with the caption: "Bye 2019 thanks for kicking my butt, making me stronger than ever, protecting my family and hurtling me toward my dreams also, not a bad way to ring in the new year with my sweetheart.”
Facinelli has starred in several hit shows like 'Nurse Jackie', 'Supergirl' and 'S.W.A.T.' Anne Harrison is the daughter of actor Gregory Harrison and actress and model Randi Oakes. She was last seen in the 2018 'Christmas Camp' and in guest roles on 'One Tree Hill', 'The Craft Store', and 'Two Guys One Truck'.
