'People will always have something to say': Tarek El Moussa responds to online criticisms about his home renovation projects
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tarek El Moussa is not bothered by the criticisms he faced by his haters online. The 'Flip or Flop' alum shared his response to some of the criticism he receives about his home renovation projects in an Instagram reel on Thursday, November 2.
The father-of-three admitted that people hating on his work often “comes with the territory” of being a public figure, People reports.
What did Tarek El Moussa write in his post?
“People will always have something to say about my flips, but guess what…I’m not stopping!! In fact, all the negativity gives me the motivation to keep going and challenges me to go above and beyond at every flip,” he wrote in the caption.
The HGVT star disclosed a few comments he’s referring to in the reel, including one that said, “He shouldn’t be on TV at all.”

Another user wrote, “Lol the guy is a fool! He makes money because any fool can in California!” followed by a different commenter calling on Tarek’s ex-wife, Christina Hall, whom he used to host Flip or Flop with. “Can we get more Christina, his shows don’t make any sense lol,” the comment read.
However, many of his fans showed support for El Moussa in the post's comment section. One said, "Screw the haters ..You are a great businessman and mentor..plus I love ALL your shows." Another commented, "Love your shows. Do not listen to haters. 💖💖💖" and another echoed, "O much hate in this world, it shows up everywhere."
Tarek El Moussa gave a shoutout to his renovation projects
Moussa, who was seemingly unfazed by the toxicity, gave a shoutout to his renovation projects that fans can expect to see in the upcoming season of HGTV’s 'The Flipping El Moussas', which he hosts with his wife Heather.
“We’re doing just that on season 2! Can’t wait to show you what’s up our sleeves this season," he said.

The real investor announced in September this year that he would be releasing a new book in February 2024, 'FLIP YOUR LIFE: How to Find Opportunity in Distress—in Real Estate, Business, and Life', in which he will open up about private incidents from his past and explain how he was able to overcome those hardships.
In the upcoming memoir, the TEM Capital founder will provide an insight to his addiction to steroids after facing testicular and thyroid cancer, in addition to his “very public” divorce from Hall, from whom he split in 2016.
The exes share two children together, Taylor, 13, and Brayden, eight, and Tarek also has a nine-month-old son named Tristan with wife Heather.
